What I adore most is the mix of elements: tall grasses, wheel tracks, rustic stables, and Perry’s Cottage—built around the 1850s—all whispering stories of Perth’s past. The contrast between serene paddock landscapes and heritage structures adds real depth and soul to images.

Late afternoon is magical here. Sunlight filtering through the grass and trees bathes the ruins in a gentle, golden glow, giving your photos warmth and texture. Mornings are also excellent—soft light, fresh vibes, and fewer visitors.
